James (Jimmy) Michael Victoria,
of Mansfield, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. He was 69 years old.
Beloved husband of Dolores (Romano) Victoria of Mansfield for 41 years. Devoted father of son Anthony (AJ) Victoria of Boston and daughter Andrea Victoria-Ring and her husband Tyler Ring of Mansfield. James was a loving grandfather to two young grandsons, Jack and Camden Ring, who adored him.
Loyal brother to sisters Dorothy Victoria, Elizabeth Hubert, the late Anna Mashburn, and brothers Albert, Robert and the late Richard, Charles, Edward and William (Sonny) Victoria. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was born on October 24, 1948 in Boston, to the late Anthony and Mary (DeAngelis) Victoria. He grew up in Dedham. He worked as a diesel mechanic, in fleet maintenance, for Stop & Shop until he retired after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 25 union.
His many hobbies included spending time with family and friends, and working on cars in his beloved garage. He enjoyed dinners out, trips to Maine’s coast and was a dedicated fan of the New England Patriots.
He was an extremely giving, generous man to all in need. Jimmy had a smile and a heart just as big. No task was too much to complete for anyone who asked. He was a stellar example of how to lead a good life, work extremely hard, stay loyal and provide for your family. He was truly one of a kind and will be fondly missed by everyone that knew him.
