Helen S. (Turnullo) Bongiovanni,
of Braintree, loving wife of Dominic M. Bongiovanni, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
Though not blessed with children of their own, she loved and enjoyed the company of her nephews and nieces, Ken O’Brien and his wife Mary of Braintree and daughters; Alison of Braintree, Kate and Celso Dias of Weymouth and Jacqueline O’Brien and Jonathan Capachione of Quincy; Paul O’Brien and his wife Frances, and children Patricia and Jeffrey of Yarmouth Maine; many nieces and nephews of the Ternullo family.
She was a graduate of Girls High of Boston. Taking a secretarial course, working at that she became bored; her passion was tailoring. Working in a factory, they found her workmanship so top notch, that she was later promoted to head of the designing room for College Town Sportswear.
She was also talented at playing the piano and organ. She loved dancing in her younger days and was always the life of the party.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Church 44 School St Quincy on Thursday, February 16th at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home 116 Franklin St Quincy on Wednesday, February 15th from 5 to 8 pm. Burial at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
