Angelina J. (Tootsie) Tantillo,
92, of Quincy passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 after a brief illness.
Born in Quincy, she was the loving daughter of the late Anthony and Delia Tantillo. She was a lifelong resident of Quincy. As a homemaker, she loved to cook, feed her birds and garden. Most of all, she loved her family unconditionally. She was the one person you could count on to be home for a visit and answer the phone when you called. She was loyal, strong, a true Italian to the core.
Tootsie is survived by her nephew Richard Tantillo and his wife Wanda of Quincy, niece Donna Gulizia and fiancé Stephen McCord of Lowell, grandnephew Derek Gulizia and wife Marie, and great grandnieces Alita and Olive Gulizia. She is the sister of the late Anthony (Jimmy) Tantillo, Mary (Lindy) Maloney, Joseph (Joe T) Tantillo and Dominic Tantillo. She is also survived by Marion Tantillo and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by her longtime friends Frances Consalvi and Filomina Christina.
Her family would like to express a warm thank you to the compassionate staff of John Adams Healthcare in Quincy and the medical staff at South Shore Hospital ED and Pratt 3 for their dedication to our beloved Aunt Tootsie.
