Jennie (Trffiletti) Fantasia,
of Canton, formerly of Quincy, died at Boston Medical Center in Boston on Monday, December 19, 2016 after a brief illness. She was 77 years old. Jennie was the beloved wife of fifty-one years to Antonio M. Fantasia. Born in Boston on October 23, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Caroline (D’Arrigo) Trifiletti.
Jennie was raised and educated in Dorchester. After her marriage to Antonio in 1965 she settled in Quincy for many years.
Devoted mother of the late Philip Fantasia.
She is survived by her two sons, Anthony Fantasia and his wife Shannon of Bridgewater and Joseph Fantasia and his wife Maureen of Weymouth. Loving aunt to Paul Ciavardini and his wife Joanna and their children George and Olivia. Sister of the late Margaret Ciavardini. Mrs. Fantasia is also survived by her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Maddison, Luke, Linda, John, Talon, Joseph, Angelina and Philip.
Her smile, strength and love will be dearly missed.
Funeral mass at St. John’s Church, 44 School Street, Quincy on Saturday, December 24th at 9:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Calling hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Friday, December 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
