Clara A. (Cedrone) Sisti,
a lifelong resident of Quincy, died at Pope Nursing Home in Weymouth with her daughter and family by her side on September 25, 2016. She was 93. She was the wife of the late George W. Sisti. Born in Quincy on December 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Costanzo and Filomena (Giarrusso) Cedrone.
Clara graduated from Quincy High School in 1940. For many years with her late husband she owned and operated the former D & D Deli in South Quincy. She was also a longtime seamstress at the Presidential Nursing Home in Quincy. Clara enjoyed time spent with her family and granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa and her husband John P. “Jack” Brown, Jr. of Quincy; a granddaughter, Jacqueline N. Brown of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late George W. Sisti, Jr. and sister of the late Edward, Anthony, Joseph Cedrone and Carmela Grasso.
Funeral mass will be held at St. John Church, 44 School Street, Quincy on Thursday, September 29th at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Wednesday, September 28th from 5 to 8 pm.
