Patricia A. (Sticka) Kaphaem,
of Lakeville, formerly of Mansfield, wife of the late William F. Kaphaem, died at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Boston after a valiant struggle with pancreatic cancer. She was 81. Born, raised and educated in Belleville, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late William and Matilda "Tillie" (Kern) Sticka. Patricia also attended the University of Illinois.
She taught both piano and organ for thirty years. Patricia enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, water color painting, reading, gardening and baking.
Her survivors include a daughter, Tracey Juda and her spouse Cathy of Lakeville; a son, Steven Juda of Collinsville, Illinois; a brother, Kenneth Sticka and his wife Jean of Belleville, Illinois; a niece, Lezlie Robinson and her husband Tom of Millstadt, Illinois; her two beloved dogs, Lucy and Rudy.
Funeral service will be held at the Bolea - Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street,
Mansfield on Thursday, April 28th at 5 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation to be held at the funeral home prior to service on Thursday from 3 to 5 pm. Burial is private.
