Carrie M. Sequin,
94, passed away peacefully with her son at her side on February 24, 2016 at Madonna Manor Nursing Home. Born in Italy on February 4, 1922, she came to America in 1928 with her mother and two siblings arriving at Ellis Island. She was a life-long resident of Mansfield and a communicant of St Mary's Church.
Mrs. Sequin was predeceased by her loving husband Roger Sequin.
Carrie worked as an assembler at the Foxboro Company for 25 years and later as a server at the Doolittle rest Home in Foxboro.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Bickford and husband Richard of Pembroke, NH; her son, Roger Sequin of Mansfield; sister, Adeline Quaglia of Attleboro; brother, Harry Petrillo of Bluffton, SC; granddaughters Sara Teel and partner Tim Soutiere of Jeffersonville, VT, Sarah Bisson of Concord, NH and Sasha Bartlett and husband Christopher of Henniker, NH; great grandchildren, Aidan and Eliott Tilton, Joshua, Taylor, Ethan and Abigail Bisson and Ada Bartlett; eleven nieces and nephews and close friend Lorraine Teague. Family was the center of her life.
She will be remembered as a loving, kind, considerate, generous mother, grandmother, sister and a special aunt who will be deeply missed. She truly was an inspiration to all she loved and all who loved her.
Memorial mass at St. Mary's Church 330 Pratt St. (Rte. 106), Mansfield on Friday, March 4th at 11:00am, with a celebration of her life to follow at the Rose Garden.
