of Quincy, died Saturday January 23, 2016 at Hancock Park in Quincy. He was 88. Mr. Rossicone was the loving husband of the late Giovanna (Paletta) Rossicone.
Born in Scanno, Italy on March 3, 1927, Mr. Rossicone was the son of the late Angelo and Anna (Maiocco) Rossicone. He was raised and educated in Italy before he immigrated to Quincy in 1979. Mr. Rossicone worked as a member of the Laborers Union 22 of Malden for many years. He enjoyed working in his garden and making homemade wine.
Mr. Rossicone is survived by his two children, Carmelo Rossicone and his wife Angela and Marisa Ranalli and her husband Massimo, all of Braintree. He was the loving grandfather of Cynthia, Roberto, Tanya and Adriana. Mr. Rossicone is also survived by many extended family members in Italy.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday January 26 from 4-8pm in the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday January 27 at 10am in St. John's Church, 44 School St., Quincy. Interment to follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
