Linda (Galanti) DePillo,
of Dennis and Mansfield, passed away with peace on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the age of 72, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph L. DePillo.
Born in Attleboro on August 26, 1943. Linda was the daughter of the late Lindo and Margaret (Dei) Galanti. Linda was a graduate of Mansfield High School and the Henry O. Peabody School. After marrying Ralph and having four children in seven years, Linda opened up Step-n-Style Beauty Salon with her sister Mary. She was also former owner of Honey Dew Donut Shop in Dennisport.
Linda was always pursuing something Creative; be it sewing, painting, knitting or decorating. She loved to entertain for her family and friends. She traveled near and far with Aruba and Italy being her favorite destinations. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who's greatest passion was having fun, being silly, loving life and laughing.
Linda was a devoted mother to Ralph DePillo and his wife Carol, Peter DePillo and his companion Jude, David DePillo and his companion Nadine and Paula Henry and her companion Keith; Loving Nonnie to, Liana, Andria, Francesca, Olivia and Jessica; Sister of Mary Sheehan and her son Robert, Jr and Lindo Galanti, Jr. Also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Her funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte.106) Mansfield. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd at the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115. N. Main St., Mansfield from 4 to 8pm.
