Lucy E. (Loiurio) Wolforth,
of Quincy, died Friday, December 4th at the Quincy Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 94. Mrs. Wolforth was the wife of the late Richard F. Wolforth.
Born in Boston on January 30, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Elvira (Consalvi) Loiurio. Mrs. Wolforth attended school in Quincy and was a devoted mother and homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her eight children, Richard A. and his wife Mary of Texas, Frank and his wife Paula of Virginia, Edward and his wife Deborah of Weymouth, Mark and his wife Joanne of Weymouth, Matthew of Quincy, John and his wife Joanne of Billerica, Marion Coe and her husband Richard of Abington and Rose Marie Behlak and her husband Kevin of Florida. Mrs. Wolforth is also survived by13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Lawrence, Emilio, Philomena, Marion and the late Joseph Loiurio.
Her funeral will be from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy on Thursday, December 10 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, 44 School St., Quincy at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are Wed 5-8pm.
