Giovanna (Paletta) Rossicone,
of Quincy, formerly of East Boston, died Thursday July 9 at Hancock Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Quincy. She was 87 years old and the beloved wife of Secondino Rossicone for 60 years.
Born in Scanno Italy on February 27, 1928, she was the loving daughter of the late Francesco & Ubalda (Mancini) Paletta. Mrs. Rossicone was a loving and devoted Homemaker. She cherished her family, cooking for them and treasured time with them at Sunday dinners.
Mrs. Rossicone was the loving mother of Carmelo Rossicone & his wife Angela and Marisa Ranalli & her husband Massimo, all of Braintree. She was the cherished grandmother of Cynthia, Roberto, Tanya & Adriana.
Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Tuesday July 14 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment in Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
