Alfred M. Spiezio,
of Mansfield, died Wednesday, July 1st at Life Care of W. Bridgewater surrounded by his loving family & loyal loving dog Molly. He was 85 years old and the beloved husband of the late Mary T. (Wilson) Spiezio.
Born in Mansfield on July 3, 1929, he was the loving son of the late John and Lavinia Spiezio. Mr. Spiezio devoted 50 years as an Industrial Mechanic at the Chocolate Factory formerly of Mansfield. He had Keen sense and eye for Constructing, building and how machinery functioned. He had a great love & devotion for his family. He enjoyed travel, summering in Wareham, animals and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Mr. Spiezio was the loving father of Diane O’Neill & her husband Arthur of Mansfield, Barbara Curtis & her husband Richard “Hap” of Mansfield, Cherished grandfather of Matthew O’Neill & his wife Amira of London, England, Joshua Curtis of Mansfield and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 N. Main Street in Mansfield on Tuesday July 7 at 9:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Pratt Street (Rte. 106) in Mansfield at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
