Gloria Jean (Nasise) Bentley,
of Norton, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, April 16 after a courageous and brave battle. She was 71 years old.
Born in Attleboro on June 3, 1943, she was a loving and devoted daughter of the late Philip and Louise (Frongillo) Nasise. Gloria was educated in Mansfield schools and was a 1961 graduate of Mansfield High School. Prior to retiring, Gloria worked in the jewelry design industry. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield.
She is known to all as a genuine, loving, and beautiful woman with a young spirit. She loved spending time with her family, was a dedicated New England Patriots fan (especially loved Gronk), a phenomenal dancer, loved all things Italian, was an outstanding cook, a “professional” crossword solver, an avid reader, an incredibly witty young lady and a “tell it like it is” kind of gal.
She is survived by her three devoted daughters: Susan Herb and her husband Michael of Syracuse, NY, Kimberly Cobb and her husband Allen of Mansfield and Christina Pignone and her husband Stanley of Norton. She was the cherished grandmother of Douglas, Nicholas, Anthony, David, Vincent, Kassandra, Gina, Stush, Jessica and Jayme and great-grandmother of Anthony, Gianna, and Colbie. She is also survived by her dog Gabe who she adored and who adored her. She was the dear sister of Anna Hansen of Attleboro and Lisa Dicesare & her husband Randy of Folsom, CA. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was the former wife of the late Ronald Miller for nearly three decades.
Visiting hours will be held at the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 N. Main Street in Mansfield on Monday, April 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
