Antonio F. Carlucci,
of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5th at home. He was 88 years old and the beloved husband of Annina F. (Taddeo) Carlucci.
Born in Italy on October 11, 1926, he was the loving son of the late Carmine & Elisabetta (Castrilli) Carlucci. Mr. Carlucci Married in 1950. He worked at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy & was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local 133 in Quincy. Once retired, he enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, gardening, watching the Red Sox and annual trips to Italy to visit relatives.
Mr. Carlucci is survived by his son Carmine Carlucci, his daughters Anna Barra & John DiTocco, Maria & David Barber; his grandchildren Christopher Barra & Michelle Doherty, Amanda Barra & Kyle Mann, Stephanie & Michael Lathrop, David Barber & William Barber and his great-granddaughters Reese Barra, Adriana Barra, Annina Lathrop and Josefine Mann.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. John’s Church, 44 School Street, Quincy on Friday, April 10 at 10am. Relative and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Carlucci’s memory to the Hospice VNA of Boston, 300 Crown Colony Drive, Suite 108, Quincy, MA 02169.
