Frances "Frannie" Marie (Radziszewski) Eckler,
of Mansfield, formerly of West End Boston and Hyde Park, died peacefully at home on Tuesday March 24th. She was 88.
Frannie was the loving wife of the late Casimir E. Eckler (Ret. Boston Fire).
Born in Boston on August 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Helen (Weiaaska) Radziszewski.
Frannie was homebound for the past several years and cared for by her daughter "Re." She enjoyed caring for and visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frannie spent her winters in New Smyrna Beach, FL with her now deceased husband. She enjoyed shopping, couponing, helping others, trips to Foxwoods, praying the Rosary daily, reading the newspapers and watching TV.
Frannie was the loving mother of Marie Ann "Re" Eckler of Mansfield and the late Pauline "Polly" Conti. She was the beloved grandmother of Kristin Murphy and her husband Kevin of Gardner, Charles Conti and Christopher Conti both of Mansfield and the cherished great grandmother of Declan Hunter Murphy and Carleigh Shay Murphy. Frannie is also survived by her brother John Radziszewski of Medford, several nieces and nephews and many parish and hospice friends.
Visiting hours will be held in the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street, Mansfield on Friday, March 27 from 8:30am-9:30am. Followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street, (Rte. 106) Mansfield at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield.
