Eunice A. DiSalvio,
a lifelong resident of Quincy died Sunday February 8 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
Born in Quincy, she was the loving daughter of the late Panfilo & Lena (Chella) DiSalvio. Ms. DiSalvio was a graduate of Quincy High School, worked for Bethlehem Steel Company at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy and worked for the City of Quincy’s Auditor’s Department for many years until her retirement. She was a Communicant of St. John’s Parish in Quincy, St. Anthony’s Shrine in Boston and former member of St. Joseph’s Church in Quincy. She enjoyed long walks, gardening, cooking, reading and visiting different states during her vacations.
Ms. DiSalvio was the dear sister of Edward DiSalvio and his wife Rita of Weymouth, Louis DiSalvio of Weymouth, Paul and Gerald DiSalvio, both of Quincy, Olga Golden of NH, Virginia Roccuzo of Quincy, Angelina Bastarache & her husband Ernest of CA. and the late Samuel, William, Robert and Eva DiSalvio and Anna Durante. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements being made by the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street in Quincy. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. John’s Church, 44 School Street in Quincy on Tuesday February 17 at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are being omitted. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eunice’s memory to the St. Anthony Shrine, 100 Arch Street, Boston, MA 02110 or in memory of Eunice’s late brother Robert to the Wrentham Development Center, 131 Emerald Street, Wrentham, MA 02093.
