Theresa (Liberatore) Gentili,
of Mansfield died Saturday December 20 at the Life Care Center of W. Bridgewater. She was 98 years old and the beloved wife of the late Leo P. Gentili
Born in Mansfield on January 1, 1916, she was the loving daughter of the late Felix & Anna (Scatalini) Liberatore. Mrs. Gentili retired from the former Nabisco Corp. at the Mansfield Chocolate Factory. She treasured her family, attended the Mansfield and Norton Council on Aging, enjoyed bingo, occasional Casino trips and shopping.
Mrs. Gentili was the loving mother of Winifred “Winnie” Collins of Norton, Roberta Sharp of Swansea, and the late Patricia A. Crum & Leo P. Gentili Jr. She was the cherished grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 11 and the dear sister of the late Guido, Wilfred, John & Frank Liberatore and Ida Nervi.
Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 N. Main Street, Mansfield on Tuesday December 23 at 8am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte. 106) in Mansfield at 9am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations may be made in Mrs. Gentili’s memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
