Lillian M. (Montilio) Aldoupolis,
of Quincy and Norwell, passed away on Monday, November 3rd at Bay Path Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Duxbury. She was 83 years old and the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Aldoupolis.
Born in Quincy on August 21, 1931, she was the loving daughter of the late Joseph & Adele (Casarico) Montilio. Mrs. Aldoupolis was a graduate of Quincy High School Class of 1949. She worked at Montilio’s Pastry Shop in Quincy until retiring in 1989 after over 40 years of serving as Head Cake Decorator for the family business. She was truly a master of her craft. She was a member of the Stella Del Nord #1436 and enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and bowling at Olindy’s with her friends.
Mrs. Aldoupolis was the loving mother of Adele of Bridgewater, Carol of Chelsea, Diane Bradley of Marshfield, Anita Sinnott & her husband David of Middleboro, Teresa Feeney & her husband John of Braintree, George & his wife Helen of Norwell, Ernest of Rockland, Thomas & his wife Anita of Marshfield, the late Joseph Aldoupolis and mother-in-law of Arlene Aldoupolis of Lisbon Falls, ME. She was the cherished grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 1.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. John’s Church, 44 School Street, Quincy on Friday November 7 at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Thursday from 4-7pm. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery.
