Dorothy (Collura) Giuliano,
of Plymouth, formerly of Quincy, passed away Friday October 17 at home. She was 95 years old and the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Giuliano.
Born in Aragona Sicily, Italy on July 28, 1919, she was the loving daughter of the late Rocco & Rosa (Cottone) Collura.
Mrs. Giuliano had to leave school after the 9th grade to help support her family during the Depression. She was highly motivated and received her GED at the age of 55. She worked in the Garment Industry as a young girl and went on to become the owner of a Clothing Boutique. She also worked as a Teller for the former Norfolk City Trust of Braintree and was a former member of the Quincy Aragona Society.
Mrs. Giuliano was the loving mother of John S. Giuliano of Plymouth and Rocco A. Giuliano & his wife Sylvia Stagg-Giuliano of Boston. She was the dear sister of Anna Buckley & her husband John of Quincy and Patricia Collura of Quincy.
Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street in Quincy on Wednesday October 22 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John’s Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 3-7pm. Interment in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
