Gordon Emmett Morrison, of Summerfield, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14th. He was 80 years old and the beloved husband of Jeannette (Lemay) Morrison for 59 years.

Born in Cambridge, MA on May 16, 1934, he was the loving son of the late Lionel & Kathleen Morrison. Mr. Morrison proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired as a Sergeant in the Boston Police Department after 35 devoted years of serving & protecting.

Mr. Morrison was the loving father of Theresa Hopper & her husband Michael of Summerfield, FL, Edward Morrison & his wife Madelyn of W. Warwick, RI, Kenneth Morrison & his wife Amy of Middleboro and the late James Morrison. He was the cherished grandfather of Sara, Edward, Richard, Christine Elizabeth, Kenneth Jr. and great-grandfather of Savannah, Isabella, Colton, Autumn, Alexis, Emmett and the late Hayley. He was the dear brother of Richard Morrison, Carol Adams, Sharon Gonza & Donna Lewis.

Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street in Mansfield on Monday, October 20 at 9:45am. Followed by a Graveside service in Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4-8pm.
