Mario C. Ferrazzi,
a lifelong resident of Quincy died Monday, August 11 at home. He was 84 years old and the beloved husband of Clara (Vespaziani) Ferrazzi for 61 years.
Born in Quincy on July 14, 1930, he was the loving son of the late Oswald & Angelina (Carabelli) Ferrazzi.
Mr. Ferrazzi was the Owner & Operator of Mario’s Greenhouse in Milton for over 50 years until retiring. He was a longtime member of the Sons of Italy & the John Quincy Adams Club. His two greatest passions were his 3 children and 6 grandchildren, which he considered his greatest joys in life and taking care of his lawn & flowers.
Mr. Ferrazzi was the devoted & loving father of William Ferrazzi & his wife Mary, Susan Petitti & her husband Tom and Brenda Greenspoon & her husband Steven. He was the cherished grandfather of Jennifer Petitti, Michael Ferrazzi, Thomas Petitti, Joseph Ferrazzi and Joshua and Matthew Greenspoon. He was the dear brother of Anna Quirk & her husband David and the late Josephine Corley. He was the brother- in- law of George Corley and Eda Phipps & her husband Lawrence.
Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Thursday August 14 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Crescent Street, Quincy at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery.
