Carmella (Carosi) Hamilton,
of Quincy, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the John Adams Healthcare Center in Quincy. She was 93 years old and the beloved wife of the late John H. Hamilton.
Born in Quincy on February 7, 1921, she was the loving daughter of the late Alfonso & Caterina (DeNicola) Carosi. Mrs. Hamilton was a graduate of Quincy High School, worked for the Thomas Crane Library and retired from the City of Quincy as a Lunch Matron at the Daniel Webster School where she also chaperoned the annual 6th grade class trip to Washington DC for 23 years.
Mrs. Hamilton was the loving mother of Susan Hamilton of Quincy and Bradford Hamilton of Hopedale. She was the cherished grandmother of Ian Hamilton, George Wild Owl, Dawn Wild Owl and is also survived by "The Girls."
Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Saturday February 15 at 9:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm. Interment in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
