Josephine M. (DiPiero) DiTocco,
of Hingham, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Harbor House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hingham. She was 95 years old and the beloved wife of the late Nicola DiTocco.
Born in San Martino Italy on August 5, 1918, she was the loving daughter of the late Nicola & Rosina DiPiero. Mrs. DiTocco came to America in 1935 and settled in Quincy until retiring to St. Petersburg, Florida.
She was a Seamstress and member of the International Ladies Garment Union.
Josephine's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Harbor House for the kind and compassionate care she received during her stay there.
Mrs. DiTocco was the loving mother of Rosalie Aprea & her husband Ronald of Hingham, Paul DiTocco and his wife Cathy of Braintree and the late Russell DiTocco and Richard DiTocco. She was the cherished grandmother of LeeAnn, Matthew, Jonathan, Sarah, Erica, James, Richie, Joanna and great-grandmother of 10.
Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Wednesday, October 2nd at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John's Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
