Stephen R. McDonald,
of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Wednesday August 7 at home. He was 29 years old and the beloved son of Kenneth G. and Karen (Deiss) McDonald of Mansfield.
Mr. McDonald was born in Newton on July 27, 1984. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School, where he played hockey and Plymouth State University in NH.
Mr. McDonald was the dear brother of Matthew, Robert and David McDonald, Cherished grandson of Mary & Walter Deiss of Taunton, Margaret McDonald of West Roxbury and the late James McDonald. He was the dear nephew of Janet (McDonald) and Peter Sennott of Boxford, Kathleen (McDonald) and Bryan Orton of Ft. Pierce, FL., Laura and Karl Deiss of Dedham and the late James “Benny” McDonald and loving companion of Rebecca Cole and her daughter Kayla of Mansfield. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte. 106) Mansfield on Monday August 12 at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 N. Main Street, Mansfield on Sunday from 2-6m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
