Edward J. Jackimowicz,
of Mansfield, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Bay Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. He was 77 years old and the beloved husband of Arlene (Thornton) Jackimowicz.
Born in Boston on March 12, 1936, he was the loving son of the late Joseph and Helen G. (O'Toole) Jackimowicz.
Mr. Jackimowicz was the devoted father of Edward J. Jackimowicz of North Fort Myers, FL, John T. Jackimowicz of Sandwich, Linda J, Colby of Mansfield, and Karen V. Sheehan of Uxbridge. He was the dear brother of Kay Cox of Lake Wales, FL, Carol Fee of Dedham, Patricia Jackimowicz of Pasadena, CA, Michael Jackimowicz of Carver, and the late Mary Campbell and Helen Vitiello. He was the cherished grandfather of Kyle, Corbin, Taylor, Connor, Jaime and Bailey and 1 great-grandchild Gunner.
Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street in Mansfield on Friday, May 24th at 8:00am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte. 106) Mansfield at 9:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5-8pm. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
