of Quincy, passed away on Wednesday, October 10th at home. He was 76 years old. Born in Campobasso, Italy on September 23, 1936 he was the loving son of the late Sabatino and Mariannina (Taddeo) Ferrara.
Mr. Ferrara was raised and educated in Italy until moving to Quincy at age 15. He was a longtime member of the Laborer's International Union Local 133 in Quincy. He enjoyed fishing, walking, Italian Opera and dancing.
Mr. Ferrara was the loving father of Donna Ferrara, Lisa Ferrara and her husband James Wickersham and Rhonda Ferrara and her companion John Gaye. He was the longtime companion of Dorothy Roche, her children Paula, Nancy & Karen and her grandchildren. He was the former husband of Phyllis Luiso. He is also survived by 3 sisters, 4 brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Sunday, October 14 from 2-5pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
