Frances L. (Morini) Copparini,
a lifelong resident of Mansfield passed away Tuesday, July 31st at Newton Medical Center in Covington, GA. She was 100 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Hugo Copparini.
Born in Mansfield on July 15, 1912, she was the sixth of nine children born to Mario and Elena (Ceccarelli) Morini.
She was a graduate of Mansfield High School and worked in the family business, Morini's Market with her siblings. After marrying her husband, they together opened Hugo's Service Station on Pratt Street. Frances was loved by so many for her warm smile, laughter, kind heart and love for all she knew.
Mrs. Copparini was the loving mother of Ida Hunt, Ted Copparini and Dianne Cassidy. She was the cherished grandmother of Dianne Hunt, Vincent Hunt, Edon Copparini, Teddy Copparini, Eric Cassidy, Erin Cassidy and 7 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Louise Benigni.
Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street, Mansfield on Tuesday, August 7 at 8am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte. 106) Mansfield at 9am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Copparini's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
