Louise (Cipriani) Cooper,
of Mansfield, passed away at home on Monday, May 14th surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old. She was the beloved wife of Leonard Cooper.
Born in Mansfield on August 26, 1931, she was the loving daughter of the late Luigi and Maddalena Cipriani. Louise was a graduate of Mansfield High School, Class of 1949. She served as a crossing guard for the Mansfield Public Schools and was a Matron for the Mansfield Police Department for 18 years. She was also an employee of Fairfield Optical Company for a number of years.
Being a lifelong resident of Mansfield, she was loved and respected by many in the community. Louise also loved traveling around the country with her husband, her children, and her friends.
Mrs. Cooper was the loving mother of Richard Cooper and his wife Jean (Todesco) of Mansfield and Marie Cooper and son-in-law Paul Demusz of Stoughton. She was the cherished grandmother of Christina, Elizabeth and John Cooper. She was the dear sister of Constance Rathbun of Mansfield, Eleanor Piccolomini of Hyannis and Janet Rose of North Attleboro.
Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 No. Main Street in Mansfield on Wednesday May 16 at 8am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte. 106) in Mansfield at 9am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8pm. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
