Ann (Morreale) Romano ,
of Quincy, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 22 at Quincy Medical Center. She was 90. Mrs. Romano was the loving wife of the late Michelangelo A. Romano.
Born in Maynard, Massachusetts on September 23, 1921, Mrs. Romano was the daughter of the late Girolamo and Maria (Alfeo) Morreale. For many years, she worked as a seamstress in the Quincy area. Mrs. Romano enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to Foxwoods.
Mrs. Romano is the mother of Louise Beguerie of Quincy and the late Michael Romano. She is the grandmother of William J. Beguerie, III of Hanson, David M. Beguerie of Bourne and Lisa Anderson of CA. Mrs. Romano is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and is the sister of Rosalie Perfetuo of Quincy, Toni Craviotto of CA, Geraldine Lombardi of Waltham and the late Carmelo Morreale, Antonio Morreale, and Sally Attardo.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday March 27 at 10am in St. John's Church, 44 School St., Quincy. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday 4-8pm in the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
