Ida (Morini) Falotico,
of Mansfield, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 18 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was 97 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Falotico. Born in Mansfield on June 25, 1914, she was the 7th of nine children born to Mario and Elena (Ceccarelli) Morini.
She was a graduate of Mansfield High School and Attended Business School in Boston.
Mrs. Falotico was a Bookkeeper for Morini Market, formerly of Mansfield and later owned, along with her husband, sister Emma and her husband Al Tartufo, Pomfret Laundry, also formerly of Mansfield. She lived a very full and happy life. She especially enjoyed golf, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Falotico was the dear sister of Frances Copparini, Louise Benigni and the late Paul and Edmund Morini, Pauline Pescosolido, Silvio and Celestino Morini and Emma Tartufo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whose lives were enriched by her love.
Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 No. Main Street in Mansfield on Friday, October 21 at 8am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte 106) in Mansfield at 9am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 4-8pm. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
