Lydia (Chilli) Ceccarelli ,
of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, at Epoch of Norton. She was 91 years old. She was the loving wife of the late Gene Ceccarelli.
Born in Providence, RI on September 25, 1919, she was the loving daughter of the late Alexander and Maria (Masante) Chilli. Mrs. Ceccarelli was a Graduate of North Attleboro High School and Bryant College. She worked as a Secretary for the House in the Pines in Norton and the Robinson Elementary School in Mansfield and was a member of the Sons of Italy.
Mrs. Ceccarelli was the loving mother of Mary Gentili and her husband Edward of Mansfield and the late Peter Ceccarelli. She was the cherished grandmother of Ryan Gentili and his wife Maggie, Adam Gentili and his wife Jen and Mark Gentili, all of Mansfield. She was the great-grandmother of Ben, Isaac, Jacob and Tyler. She was the dear sister of the late Nugent Chilli, Sr. Maria Chilli and Yolanda Phipps.
Funeral from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street, Mansfield on Monday September 26 at 9:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street (Rte. 106) in Mansfield at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3-6pm. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
