Angelina "Ann" (Santangelo) Restaino,
of Foxboro, formerly of East Walpole, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 23 after a long battle with cancer. She was 85. Mrs. Restaino was the loving wife of the late Louis J. "Geno" Restaino.
Mrs. Restaino was born in Boston on July 21, 1926 and had been a resident of Foxboro for the past 35 years.
She was the loving mother Annette Scherneck and her husband William of Foxboro and the late Louis D. Restaino and his wife Diane of Mansfield. Mrs. Restaino was the devoted grandmother of David Restaino and his wife Shannon, Andrea Pollock and her husband Keith, Michelle and Stephanie Silvi and William L. Scherneck. She was the great-grandmother of Hunter and Lilah Pollock and Gino and Gianna Bettencourt. Mrs. Restaino was also the caring sister of the late Grace, Mildred and Josephine Santangelo, the sister in law of Cecelia Dei of Mansfield and Anita Restaino of Walpole and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main Street, Mansfield on Wednesday July 27 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St., (Rte. 106) Mansfield at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8pm. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Mansfield.
