Richard D. "Zack" Zacchine,
a lifelong resident of Quincy, died Sunday, May 8th at the John Scott Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Braintree. He was 84 years old.
Born in Quincy on March 7, 1927, he was the son of the late Aldo and Signe (Mattson) Zacchine. Mr. Zacchine served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked as a Pipefitter and was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local 537 of Boston.
Mr. Zacchine was the father of Gregory and Dean Zacchine, both of Quincy and the Grandfather of three. He was the former husband of Celia (Ursini) Zacchine.
Arrangements being made by the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street in Quincy. Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 11 from 5-8pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be private.
