Mabel A. (MacGlaughlin) Hearn,
a lifelong resident of Quincy, died Thursday, March 10th at Quincy Medical Center. She was 69 years old. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Hearn for 45 years.
Born in Quincy on August 22, 1941, she was the loving daughter of the late Alexander and Rose (Cavallaro) MacGlaughlin. She was a graduate of Quincy High School and worked for Raytheon Corporation, formerly of Quincy, for 20 years. She enjoyed crafts, making Irish Knit Sweaters, camping and playing bingo. She was a member of the Quincy Yacht Club.
Mrs. Hearn was the loving mother of Alexander Hearn and his wife Eileen of Arizona, Charleen Pearce of Quincy and Richard Hearn and his wife Susan of Bridgewater. She was the cherished grandmother of Douglas Lynch, Elaine Pouwels, Sasha Rose Hearn, Anneliese Maia Hearn, Micaela Leigh Hearn, Kyleigh Jamie Hearn, Michael and Gregory Pearce, Richard, Samantha Emily and Abigail Hearn and great-grandmother of Arlo Frank. She is also survived by many close relatives including Vincent, Joseph and Frederick Cavallaro.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Tuesday March 15 from 3-7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home following visiting hours at 7pm. Burial will be private.
