Elizabeth M. Oliverio,
of Quincy died Monday January 10 at the Royal Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Braintree. She was 88 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicolas J. Oliverio for 40 years.
Born in Baltimore, MD in 1922, she was the loving daughter of the late James H. and Rachael (Buckler) Graff.
She was a graduate of Quincy High School Class of 1940. She was a Draftsman for Bethlehem Steel Corp. at the Fore River Shipyard where she assisted in the design of WWII Battleships. After marriage, she was a Homemaker and was completely devoted to her family. She was also very well known for her artistic ability, sewing, and craftsmanship in many areas. She was a former member of St. Joseph's Women's Sodality and an avid devotee to the Blessed Virgin Mary and saying the Rosary.
Mrs. Oliverio was the loving mother of Loraine Dunn of Braintree, Lawrence Oliverio and his wife Therese Hendricks of Boston, James H. Oliverio of Abington, Mark A. Oliverio of Quincy and Clare M. Oliverio of Braintree. She was the cherished grandmother of Gregory, Nicolas, John, Margaret, Nicole, Melissa, Matthew and great-grandmother to Teddy and Jack. She was the dear sister of the late John Earl Graff and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Saturday January 15 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm. Interment in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
