Cora Spatola, a lifelong resident of Quincy, died Wednesday November 25 at Quincy Medical Center. She was 80 years old.
Born in Boston on April 3, 1929, she was the loving daughter of the late Raymond and Anna (Fanara) Spatola. Ms. Spatola was a graduate of Quincy High School and was a Billing Coordinator at Quincy City Hospital for over 30 dedicated years. She had previously worked for the former Keystone Corp. in Dorchester and the former Electrolux of Quincy. She was a member of St. John's Senior Citizens Group, the Quincy Medical Bowling League for many years and a former member of the Quincy Aragona Society.
Ms. Spatola is survived by many loving family members and dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Church, 33 School Street, Quincy on Monday November 30 at 11am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. There will be no visiting hours. Interment in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery. Arrangements are being made by the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Ms. Spatola's memory to St. John's Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
