Ronald E. Miller, 68, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010. Born in Attleboro on May 3, 1942, he was a son of the late Claude E. Miller and Margaret C. Miller (O'Donnell).
Ronnie was a life-long resident of Mansfield and a member of the 1961 Mansfield High School graduating class. He was a skilled carpenter for over 35 years and an avid Red Sox, Patriot and Celtics fan. His hobbies included singing and dancing, but his favorite times spent were those in the presence of his loving family, especially with his adoring ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He is survived by his devoted children, Susan M. Lema of Syracuse, NY, Kimberly A. Stoyle of Mansfield, and Christina Pignone and her husband Stanley of Mansfield. He was the cherished grandfather of Douglas, Nicholas, Anthony, David, Vincent, Kassandra, Gina, Stushy, Jessica and Jayme and the great grandpa of Anthony Michael. He was the brother of Richard Miller of New Jersey, and Gary Miller of Florida. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also the beloved ex-husband of Gloria J. (Nasise) Bentley, to whom he was wed for over 27 years.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, Aug. 27th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Bolea-Amici Funeral Home, 115 North Main St., Mansfield.
A funeral service will be held on Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the conclusion of visiting hours in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
