Janet (DeLuca) Coletti, a lifelong resident of Quincy died Friday April 23 at Quincy Medical Center. She was 95 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Coletti.
Born in Itri Italy in 1914, she was the loving daughter of the late Cosmo and Josephine (Ilongo) DeLuca. She immigrated to the United States in 1921 and was a graduate of Quincy High School Class of 1934. Janet was a former employee of Raymond's Department Store and Remick's, both formerly of Quincy. She was a volunteer and member of the Woman's Auxillary at Quincy Medical Center and a member of the South Quincy Senior Center.
Mrs. Coletti was the devoted mother of Joanne M. McCarty and her husband James of S. Dennis, Joyce D. Carroll and her husband Robert of Quincy and Janice J. Rooney and her husband Daniel of Weymouth. She was the adored and loving grandmother of Erin McCarty Prosser and her husband Craig of West Dennis, Robert J. Carroll and his wife Michelle of Braintree and Stephen P. Carroll and his wife Jackie of Hanover. She was the cherished great-grandmother to Joseph and Kirsten Carroll. She was the loving sister of Doris DeLuca, Mario DeLuca and his wife Dina, Fernando DeLuca and his wife Kathy and the late Francis, Armando and Matthew DeLuca. She was the sister-in-law of Elizabeth DeLuca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy on Wednesday, April 28 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 95 Crescent Street, Quincy at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment in Blue Hill Cemetery.
